Le Sphinx de Gizeh devant la pyramide de Khéphren

Travel to Egypt

The pyramids of Giza, Thebes and the Nile: the country where antiquity is still standing.

Egypt concentrates most of its population and its monuments along the Nile, from the delta down to Aswan. The great pharaonic sites divide between Giza and Saqqara in the north and Luxor and Aswan in the south.

The country has seven UNESCO World Heritage sites, among them Memphis and its necropolis with the pyramids of Giza, ancient Thebes, historic Cairo and the Nubian monuments from Abu Simbel to Philae.

The currency is the Egyptian pound (EGP). Moroccan travellers need a visa; the rules change regularly and we check them at the time of booking.
